Course Fee Purpose: The course fees for this class will be used to partially offset the cost of purchasing replacement specimens, topographic maps, and geologic maps, and to periodically replace classroom microscopes.
Description: The study of minerals and rocks in hand specimens, as well as surficial processes of the Earth revealed by topographic maps and air photos.
One three-hour lab per week.
Pre-requisite/Co-requisite: GEO 1060 or GEO 1110 or GEOG 1000.
